Jean was born in 1934 and began a theatrical career at the age of just 14 years old. In the 1950/60s she used to be a ‘Windmill Girl’ at the Windmill Theatre in London, working with such greats as Harry Secombe and Bruce Forsyth. She has also appeared on Eastenders and Hi-Di-Hi.
It wasn’t until 1990 that Jean started to paint seriously and since then she has not looked back. Having had numerous successful exhibitions across the UK, she has work across the world. Her recent work features abstract and highly colourful flowers. These are great for adding instant colour to rooms and have proven to be very popular.
