Lara Aldridge

Lara creates kiln formed glassware in spectacular forms. Her work is a culmination of 15 years experimentation in the coalition of glass and metals. Each piece created comprises of resonant tones and innate vibrancy. The diversity of these elements within one piece creates an object that can contain an immense amount of detail in one area together with large areas of pure colour. Designs are abstract, geometric but often have a basis in landscape and the reoccurring themes of germination and sunrise.
