Tania Tamara Franke Lawson was born in Rhodesia (Zimbabwe). She is a naturally creative person and has a wide experience covering everything from an innovative flower business to stage work.

Tamara has always painted, winning awards from the Marymount A level art cup to the Cape Town design award of the year. She has, as a mature student, studied textiles at Warwick and oil on canvas with various Masters of Art in West Yorkshire. Influenced by her childhood in Africa, she loves painting light and the tonal values that create surreal light.

Over the last few years Tamara has painted many commissions for client’s homes, complementing the interior décor. She has a talent for being able to bring the essence of a room into her painting, using a wide range of unique styles whilst experimenting with different materials and textures.
