Terry Kellett
Having worked as Creative Director in Advertising & Marketing for various large agencies, Terry’s love of painting has always been pursued as a pastime and it is only in recent years that he has exhibited his work.
A passion for walking, landscape, natural history, flowers and ornithology has been with Terry since childhood and is reflected in his recent work.
Obtaining a fine art degree from Leeds College of Art and a passion for sculpture, with a particular interest in Henry Moore and Barbara Hepworth, has also been influential in the way his recent paintings have developed.
His work reflects an abstract way of viewing flowers and landscapes. Using mixed media and combining colour, shape and form to maximise the impact of the subject.
